George Tingo – Director/CEO

Mr. Tingo is the Horizon Founder and CEO, and a member of the Horizon Board of Directors. In his 30 year business career, Mr. Tingo has been CEO of a multitude of service, manufacturing and technology companies, including public company CEO experience. He has owned and operated of a host of businesses with worldwide locations, operations, and sales. Mr. Tingo holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of San Francisco; he was the founding partner of a California-based law firm; and, he is a current member in good standing of the State Bar of California. As Horizon’s CEO Mr. Tingo is responsible for the Horizon executive, legal, operating, technology, and financial affairs.

Patrick O’Shaughnessy – Director

Mr. O’Shaughnessy has 12 years venture investment and investment banking experience along with experience in Oil & Gas, Information Technology, Life Sciences and Consumer Products.  As part of Brightstone Venture Capital Group and Horizon Oilfield Services, Mr. O’Shaughnessy brings 16 years of experience in early stage management as CEO, COO, VP Sales/Marketing, and VP of Finance.

Mr. Dalvey is a Managing Partner of Brightstone Venture Capital since September 2000. He has 28 years of corporate finance and venture capital experience; 15 Years Venture Fund Partner experience; 10 years Investment Banking; and 33 collective years as a corporate board director/advisor. Previously, Mr. Dalvey has held senior investment banking management positions with R.J. Steichen and Company, and Wessels, Arnold & Henderson. Seth DeGroot – Advisor

Mr. DeGroot is a Managing Partner at Brightstone Venture Capital, which focuses heavily on investments in the Oil and Gas Industry, with an emphasis on the major shale plays in the United States. Mr. DeGroot has deep experience analyzing produced/flowback water data and siting Saltwater Disposal Facilities in the Bakken. Prior to joining Brightstone, Mr. DeGroot had experience as a Financial Analyst, Sr Financial Analyst, and Operations Manager at multiple venture-backed startup companies. Mr. DeGroot holds an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.

Niles Hushka is CEO of KLJ, recognized throughout the region for his innovative philosophies and creative solutions in the engineering industry and business community. His dedication to high ethical standards, quality work and entrepreneurial spirit has propelled him to lead KLJ, one of the largest multi-disciplinary engineering and planning engineering firms in the region. Hushka is president and CEO of KLJ, which employs more than 700 professionals across five states and 23 locations.

Wayne R. Freese – Advisor

Dr. Freese is a Director of the Bakken Investment Group (BIG). BIG has invested in and operated multiple saltwater disposal facilities in the Bakken. Dr. Freese serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Prairie Holdings Group, LLC, a holding company that provides financial information, budget planning and human resources and payroll services for six companies in the agribusiness and animal health industry. Dr. Freese is a co-founder of Oxford Laboratories (now owned by Merck) and Newport Laboratories, Inc. (now owned by Merial). He has served as a bank director and held positions on several economic planning committees. Dr. Freese attended Iowa State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. He also received a Master’s degree in Swine Preventative Medicine from the University of Minnesota.
